Kamchàtka is an artist collective of diverse nationalities and disciplines whose members first met in Barcelona in 2006 during a street theatre workshop led by Adrian Schvarzstein. The work of the collective is centered around group improvisation on the streets or productions which are bound to be rewritten on location.
Since 2007, they have created their own poetical language through a trilogy about human migrations – Kamchàtka (2007), Habitaculum (2010) and Fugit (2014) – and have toured in 25 different countries across Europe, Asia and the American continent. The company offers also a workshop Migrar, a unique human experience around the show Kamchàtka, for the inhabitants of your city, as well as an indoor production with the symphony orchestra of your choice – Music for wild beasts – an approach of classical music for every audience.
The whole of these productions are available for touring.
